Artist's Statement
I really like people. The front has its diversity, and the back seems to reveal a person’s history. I find this very fascinating. The world has over 7.5 billion people, yet every face is unique. I tried to convey the exploding energy of the crowd. The temperature of a beaming sunlight can never surpass that of the compassion between two people. People should be the priority. We all face the same goal. That is the paradise I dream of.

JJ Marino review
JJ Marino portrays a yearning for community and the company of people, rather than living in the future. He chooses to live in the present and enjoy his day-to-day life.He sees the little joys in life, the beauty in sadness, and the unity in people.
Marino says the bluebird of happiness is in front of our very eyes yet people overlook it: sometimes don’t want to see it. We try to find happiness in the impossible the far away and unachievable.
However, happiness comes to those who are happy in the present, only then can they start to pave the future and heal from the past.
When looking at the artist's work there is a sense of diversity within the integration. Harmony is only felt with others when people choose to be vulnerable and are in tune with others as their true seld. The 3D people dance on the canvas and conveys a sense of visual rhythm and consonance of shadows that are created by the figures.
