About Adel Gorgy’s Photography
Merging the conceptual with the visual into vibrant and stunning images, Adel Gorgy's work extends the boundaries and redefines the possibilities of photography. By morphing reality into pure abstraction, Gorgy transcends the limitations of realism and invites the viewer to experience new ways of seeing. In Manhattan…Unseen Perspectives he brings keen observation, a graceful aesthetic and a unique process to express moments of imagination and inspiration.
Walking through Manhattan, one does not to see these images, yet they are all there in physical existence. Imaginary moments are evoked, created, and finally made visible. Manhattan…Unseen Perspectives combines the descriptive capabilities of realism, the interpretation of expressionism, and the light and color of impressionism to create striking and dramatic compositions that are as individual as the artist's own vision.
Adel Gorgy is a New York artist whose work has been widely exhibited internationally in museums and galleries in New York, London, France, Italy, Seoul and Singapore and has been featured in publications like the NY Times, The Village Voice, The Guardian UK, Long Island Pulse, The Chelsea News, Peripheral Arteries and many others.
